When you submit a LOLstar to me, please put “LOLstars: submission” in the e-mail subject – because I get a lot of “photo” and “re: photo” e-mails that are spam – and yours will be deleted that way too if you don’t label your submissions properly.

Do you see how wide these pictures are? Due to the magic-frustration powers at WordPress, any pic you send wider than these will be cropped – so please try to make all your pictures narrow enough to fit.

You may now proceed with your lives as scheduled.

Hi there – I used to have a WordPress.com blog named the LOLcelebs, and then I did a blog-search, which I really should have done before hand. There already is a LOLcelebs (lolcelebs.com), and even though they haven’t posted since June, I felt it wouldn’t be fair, so I refashioned a blog with a new name – the LOLstars, and a (slightly) new purpose.

Here, yes, is where I (and readers who work with any of the most basic photoediting software) can post LOLstars – that is, like LOLcats, but with people or anime characters. If you’re unsure about what a LOLcat is – check out I Can Has Cheezburger.com.

So if you’d like to submit, send the photo link in the body of the e-mail (photobucket’s good for this) – do NOT send the file. Send the URL of the photo where you’ve hosted it (again – I use Photobucket.)

 We accept:

-LOLs of celebs

-LOLs of anime characters

-LOLs of movie or TV screencaps.

-If you can, please mention the source where you found the photo in the e-mail. If I get an e-mail from someone claiming copyright, I will remove the picture.

So I’ll post a few of my own – but be sure to send yours in, too – remember – host the pic on the internet, and send me the URL – it’s easier for all concerned.
